I have been using the clamps since 2018. I don’t like using them but what choice do I have.I still wet even when I wear them just not as bad if I wasn’t wearing them.

Reasonably effective protection for urinary incontinance

Getting the right balance between pressure on the urethra and circulation in the penis is a compromise. The advice to check the clamp and urinate about every hour is a good idea. I found that if I waited too long, the bladder pressure would result in a leak and that wearing the clamp for longer than two or three hours at a stretch was uncomfortable.

The clamp is reasonably comfortable, but the foam pads are a bit on the rough side. The Bard clamp that I use is a bit bulkier, but its foam pads are softer. In my experience, I can wear the Bard clamp three to five hours before it becomes uncomfortable. For both clamps, the instruction to apply the clamp just below the head of the penis ensures the best result for preventing leaks, circulation and comfort.

I ordered these for my husband who has been using this brand for several years. Although tight when new, the clamps eventually become more comfortable. They are easy to use and clean and he's generally very happy with them.
