Vagiwell® Medical Dilators are designed for individuals who need to gently stretch the vagina and gradually improve comfort and flexibility. Each dilator can be purchased individually, making it easy to select the appropriate size for your needs, replace a specific size, or continue progressing through a vaginal dilation program.
The smooth, ergonomic design allows for comfortable insertion and controlled use at home as recommended by a healthcare professional or pelvic floor therapist.
Why Use a Vaginal Dilator?
Vaginal dilators may be recommended when vaginal tightness, sensitivity, pain, or scar tissue makes penetration, sexual intercourse, or gynecological examinations uncomfortable.
They may be used as part of the management of:
- Vaginismus or involuntary tightening of the vaginal muscles
- Dyspareunia (painful intercourse)
- Vaginal stenosis or narrowing
- Menopause-related vaginal tightness
- Scarring following an episiotomy or perineal tear
- Recovery following gynecological or vaginal surgery
- Changes associated with radiotherapy or chemotherapy
- Certain vulvar or vaginal conditions, such as lichen sclerosus
- Vaginoplasty or neovaginal dilation

Each Vagiwell® dilator size is sold separately, allowing you to purchase only the size you need.
When following a progressive dilation program, treatment will typically begin with a smaller, comfortable size before gradually moving to larger sizes as tolerated. If you are unsure which size is appropriate, consult your pelvic floor therapist or healthcare provider for guidance.
How to Use
Choose a dilator size that can be inserted without causing significant discomfort. In a relaxed sitting or lying position, gently insert the dilator and leave it in place for several minutes or for the amount of time recommended by your healthcare professional.
As comfort and flexibility improve, you may gradually progress to the next size.
For best results, follow the treatment frequency and progression recommended by your physician or pelvic floor therapist. Never force the dilator or progress to a larger size if it causes significant pain.
Cleaning & Care
Vagiwell® Dilators are intended for single-patient use. After each use, wash the dilator thoroughly with warm water and mild soap, rinse well, and allow it to dry completely before storing.
